Apple has launched an online store specifically for military personnel and veterans. Through the site – active military, veterans, and their immediate family members will receive a 10% discount on select Apple products.
The Veterans and Military Store features the iPhone, Apple Watch, accessories and much more at these new exclusive prices. First, let’s have a look at the iPhone XR, one of the most recent products released by Apple. Second, this iPhone retails for $749. Through the Veterans and Military Purchase Plan, the iPhone XR can be purchased for $674.
“At Apple we are deeply grateful to the men and women of our armed forces,” the company said in a statement. “We’re proud to offer active military and veterans a new dedicated online store with special pricing as an expression of our gratitude for their brave service.”
While this is an online store, military members may purchase products in-store. USA Today reported that, in Apple stores, “an employee will help [military personnel and veterans] order from the dedicated online site. If the product is in stock, they can get it from the store.”
