Client Testimonial: Calvin S.

Today we meet yet another successful client, Calvin, S.

Calvin served three years in the United States Marine Corps as a field radio operator. It was during this time that he suffered an injury to the knee. The injury went untreated, leading to an unnatural gait and eventually resulting in the need for a bi-lateral hip replacement. Calvin also has arthritis in the joints, which likely led to degenerative spinal stenosis. Now at 61, he is unable to sit for protracted periods of time nor walk long distances without significant pain.

The Benefit Process

Calvin first applied for Social Security disability benefits on his own and was denied at the initial application level. He lost hope for approval as an SSA associate informed him that he would be turned down because he appeared to be healthy. The associate also noted that Calvin would have to reapply and go through a very lengthy process to prove his need for benefits. This is where Victory Disability came in. Having heard of Victory Disability through Facebook, Calvin reapplied for SSDI with our help at the end of July. He was promptly approved and received his first check by October.

Review of Victory Disability

When asked about his experience with Victory Disability, Calvin said, “It was much simpler and easier than expected. Everything was handled by phone or over the computer. I simply had a brief consultation, sent the medical information that I had, then sent a release so Victory could request further documents if needed. Painless and effective. I highly recommend Victory Disability!”
